News From the Living Force Campaign

by Jae Walker,
Living Force Campaign Director
Jae Walker

The Living Force campaign is six months old, and as convention season crashes in upon us, things are going pretty well. We still have a few marks to meet (yes, those metagaming certificates should be ready Any Day Now!), but, overall, the campaign is well received and seeing lots of play.

Stickers and Scoring Packets
You may have noticed that the passports Living Force uses instead of log sheets have nifty blank boxes that just beg to have something in them. If you were fortunate enough to attend Winter Fantasy, you got stamps for those spots (a.k.a. stickers). And then . . . the shipping gnomes made off with the box of extras, and it never made it back to Renton. After a few snafus, the stickers are finally reprinted/printed (I have a small but complete supply for the year), and we're now faced with the task of getting those stickers to the players.

Please pay attention, as this is important: HQ will be using scoring packet results to determine who should get Living Force stickers (and for which scenarios). If you've played Living Force but your points aren't in the members' area of the RPGA website, go bug your con coordinator, now. HQ is going to do a single mass mailing of stickers, so if your points aren't in, they won't know to send you stickers.

New Staff
Please welcome Mexal (Megan Robertson) to the Living Force Council. Megan represents the United Kingdom and is a full participant in campaign design and implementation. Living Force officially launches in the UK in August. Mexal started roleplaying in 1977, and she saw Star Wars at the cinema when it first came out. She's wanted to play there every since. We're thrilled to have her on board.
